1.  This is our third Isa Professional product and it won't be our last. My wife and I have four daughters with varying amounts of thick, curly hair. Needless to say, there is a huge need for good hair straighteners in our household. We used to buy the Revlon and Remington flat irons, but they would not last and took too long to straighten thick hair. This Isa Professional product is vastly superior to the store-bought ones.

2.   Okay, to start off, upon pulling this out of the box, and un-doing the twist ties, the first thing I noticed was how LONG the cord is! I can easily plug this in to an outlet that's a bit of a distance, and still have plenty of cord to use it with ease. The second thing I noticed, was at the base of the iron, the cord swivels, which makes using this iron so easy. You can turn this iron every which way, and the cord will turn, to be flexible! After I plugged it in, I love that it has a display that tells you if it's on/off, and what the temperature is. It also has a power button, and a + and - sign, to bring the temperature up or down. It's very sleek and smooth. The design makes it easy to hold and use. The color, deep red, is very flawless and reminds me of something you'd see in a salon. You'll want to be careful when touching the iron, as the top part where you put your hair, gets hot to the touch. I wouldn't recommend touching it without some sort of protective cover on your fingers. This iron took way less time than any other iron I've used. I have fairly long hair, and it took me about 15 minutes from start to finish to get my hair nice and straight.

I love to straighten my hair, and since it is long, it can take quite a while to do. With this luxurious flat iron, I can do my entire head in about 15 minutes -- heats quickly and usually takes about one stroke through to straighten. It is definitely professional-grade.

I simply clip sections of my hair, begin across the bottom and go up. My hair does not get damaged, and seems to really shine when done. In addition, I can go a few days without needing much, but a touch up (I have wavy hair).
