Helpful Customer Reviews:
1. This is the
last hair dryer you will ever want or need. My daughter has REALLY long and
thin hair...it takes her hours to blow dry her hair so she usually showers the
night before. A friend gave this to her as a gift for her 18th birthday and she
LOVES IT!! It is the same brand that our hairstylist uses at the salon and now
we can have it at home. We also own the Xtava collapsible diffuser--which works
great too. I timed for her and it only took her 5 MINUTES to completely dry her
hair!! I will post pictures of before and after. It is an industrial
strength--the cord is very thick and secure. The only thing was that with it
being so stiff, it would try to pull out of the outlet when you lift the dryer
high to get the top of your head. It has a setting for high and low and a
separate setting for 3 different heat settings. You can feel a difference
between the heat levels...it does not take long to change. It has a nice size
blower vent so it doesn't seem to overheat, and again it took her 5 minutes to
completely dry her hair. It does come with a concentration nozzle, which was
very nice bonus. My daughter and myself both have very fine hair so it does
tend to frizz/static especially during the winter months....but with using the
concentration nozzle and the collapsible diffuser, those problems are solved.
Overall a GREAT company and one of the best hair dryer available on the market.
I would definitely recommend this to my family, friends and salon
professionals. Two BEFORE and then AFTER pictures below...hope this helps.
2. Ok, so this
is my second Xtava Hair Dryer and I am thoroughly impressed with it. It's a
powerful hairdryer. I recently tried the Rimini 1500 and so I will be kinda
doing a side by side comparison of the two hair dryers so that someone
searching can have a side by side comparison done.
Lightweight: Both dryers claim to be lightweight.
While, I can't say what the exact weigh of the Allure dryer is, it does feel a
TINSY bit heavier than the Rimini dryer. Not by much though. They basically
feel the same in your hands. So, one doesn't stick out as being better than the
other in regards to comfort or ease of use.
Speed: The Allure boasts 2200 Watts versus the Rimini
1500. However, the width of the Rimini is much wider and casts a wider shot of
heat than the Allure. The Allure is slimmer and so it has a slimmer width of
heat coming out... It just depends really on what you prefer, if you would
rather have a dryer that has a more concentrated shot of air or one that has a
wider range...
Cords: The cord on the Allure is much sturdier than the
Rimini cord. IT seems to be a cord you would see on beauty salon's equipment
and seem that it is really strong and not likely to fray it also seems much
longer than the Rimini Cord.
Cool Shot: Both feature the Cool Shot, however the
button on the Rimini sticks out and seems to be an easier press than the Allure
button, which is just a button that presses in...
Heat Settings: Both have the 3 heat settings and two
speeds. SO, they are virtually the same in that feature.
3. This is a
really nice quality hair dryer. I got this hair dryer as part of a review
panel, for free to provide feedback and an unbiased review. The review panel
doesn't require us to write positive reviews though, just honest and
informative reviews. I was really happy to get to try the Allure 2200W
Professional Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer by XTAVA.
The pictures other people posted are accurate so I
don't need to post any.
Cord length 7ft
Noise level: average I guess, it's quiet compared to
the others I have though
Weight: It's heavier than others I have but it's also
way better quality and still what I would consider light weight.
I have very long, coarse, wavy hair. I love how my hair
looks and feels after I use this. It also came with a coupon for me for a
future order off their website, which I plan to use, I don't know if that's a
promotional thing they are doing temporarily or not but I got a coupon for a
future order :)
