1.  The Curl Secret looked so easy to use. I heard about how it was "different" because it heats your hair on all sides and retains your style better, so I decided to try it out. The first time I used it was ok - it took forever, I didn't have a lot of volume on top of my head, and boy did I get my hair tangled in it. You cannot put strands of hair wider than 1/2"- maybe 1" wide in the tool. When using this tool against your scalp, the more fanned-out your hair is at the top near your scalp, the more likely the tool is to get stuck and rip your hair out. I have learned a few tricks to using this tool that seem to make it better and easier for me, and each time I use it I get faster

2.   I have NEVER, I repeat, NEVER been able to get a curl in my hair. I got a perm when I was a kid and the ish fell out! Anyways, I bought this at Target just in case I needed a QUICK AND EASY return (smell what I'm stepping in, Amazon?), and I have to say I am amazed. I read the directions thoroughly, because let's face it - this thing looks a little terrifying and conjures memories of getting my hair wrapped up in a spiral brush as a kid. Small brushed pieces, 1-inch, face towards the head, yadda yadda, some beeping, stay calm...VIOLA - magic curls. I actually plugged this beautiful baby in at my desk at work, and used a pocket mirror to test it out, I couldn't stand the wait! I also tested a piece of my boss' hair for good measure. She is purchasing one tomorrow.

3.   Absolutely LOVE this thing! I have recently let my hair grow out and I can flat iron and straighten it like a pro but when it comes to curling it, I'm clueless!! This thing is definitely idiot proof. I tried the first time on dirty hair and did 3 sections making bigger curls and last night, I curled it on clean hair and used 4 sections making more, smaller curls. Everyone is amazed. This is super easy to use. As for getting hair caught in it, it happend a few times but it immediately beeps to let you know so I just slowly slid it down to release the curls. It was because the sections of hair I grabbed were too big. I purchased mine at Target (to make for an easy return) because I was SO sure I would be returning it but it's a keeper!
